Smythson takes part in Harvey Nichols Wool Week

We’re delighted to take part in Harvey Nichols’ Wool Campaign this week in association with the Prince of Wales.

Alongside a host of fellow luxury brands, we have designed a wool Copper Tote, a one-off collector’s item which will be auctioned for the Prince’s Countryside Fund – a unique collaboration of brands and businesses working together to secure a sustainable future for British agriculture and the wider rural economy.

The wool tote features Nile Blue and navy wool panels, reflecting our signature brand colours.

All the bags featured in the installation will be available to buy via online auction between the 20th and 30th of September; you can register interest as of September 5th at www.ebay.co.uk/harveynicholswool and the bags are displayed at at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge, and online at www.harveynichols.com.

The Campaign for Wool was launched 5 years ago by HRH The Prince of Wales to educate consumers about the benefits of wool and promote wool-predominant products to a national audience to help support and grow the wool industry.

We attended Harvey Nichols’ launch  yesterday and were spoilt with Sharpham Park delicious tea time treats. The wool-inspired installation showing the bag collection was magical and we especially liked the table decorations – balls of wool threaded with hydrangeas…
