Style & Substance: Keep Calm & Carry On

Sometimes a positive, inspirational adage can help you survive anything from a bleak Monday morning to the current challenging climate, hence our topically-titled Panama pocket notebook ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’.

The phrase was originally coined for use in a poster commissioned by The British Government’s Ministry of Information during Spring 1939 as the Second World War approached, and is regarded today as an iconic symbol of British resolve.

Introduced as part of the new Coral Collection, this notebook features a vibrant, sunny shade that is stylish as it is cheerful: Net-a-Porter.com cites ‘Smythson Coral’ as a key shade for Spring/Summer 2009
